Aspire to Change

One of the four houses of Cider International School is the house of Unicorn. Combining the Cambridge and the National Curriculum, we have two house captains, vice-captains, sports captains and cultural captains in each of these houses.

The house of Unicorn consists of more than 400 unique individuals each with their own talents. A house with great potential, not only because of its members but also because of the house masters (teachers) who are there to guide the students. Unicorn is a legendary creature with beauty and grace – the students of this house are able to represent this perfectly because not only do they hold themselves to a certain level of confidence but also excel in whatever they do. Adorned in blue and white, the house T-shirt and flag of the Unicorn house represent the serenity and caliber of every student of this prestigious house.

Perhaps the most notable among the house’s activities is in the sports department. Most of the Unicorns lean towards sports and thanks to the great sportsmanship of the sports captains of Unicorn; the students have a correct guideline. Despite tending to do physical activities more, the Unicorns have not fallen behind on their curricular education; rather some are even doing better than their peers. Of course, the house also looks over other the hobbies that may interest the Unicorns such as Musical events, Dance, Drama, Photography etc. Besides the sports captains, the other captains too have lived up to their positions, inspiring their peers and directing the house towards being the best in the school.

What makes the house of Unicorn special actually lies in the overall unity of the house. Every Wednesday’s gathering for a house meet has promoted the feeling of belongings and members are coming together this is building a sense of trust and strength among the brilliant Unicorns. Unicorns bring a fresh view in the limelight forcing better changes to be promoted and followed through.
