CIDER is in the process of having a well equipped Hi Tech Air-Conditioned Library. To provide best of the resources to our students, CIDER is revamping its Library completely. Now the Library will not only be rich in terms of a vast range of books but at the same time students can connect to the rest of the world from our library and will be able to have a project based learning and study research using technology. Library will be served as the multimedia centre and would be a great tool to facilitate the learning of not only the students of CIDER International school but also to other students also.
Library rules for the students
- The Library will be open every day during school timings except weekends and public holidays.
- Students need to present their ID Cards to use the library. Without an ID card no one will be allowed to borrow any book or any library material.
- A student can borrow only one book at a time for the duration of one week.
- Students must return their books by their allocated library day(s).
- Books will not be issued to any student in the last week of the term.
- Any book or any library material lost or destroyed by anybody, will have to be replaced to the library or triple the cost of the book/material would be charged.
- No one is allowed to underline, mark or deface the books.
- Students may use reference books in the library but those will not be issued to the students to take home.
- Students are not allowed to borrow the Audio-Visual materials from the library.
- Everybody should sit silently in the library and should not do anything which may cause disturbance to others.
- Personal books, food, drinks and bags are not allowed in the library.
- A book will be issued for one week and the borrower should return the book to the library by the stipulated time, failing which Taka 50/- (fifty) will be fined for each book per day after expiry of the scheduled date.
- The Librarian is authorised to enforce all the rules and regulations of the library.
- Lost Book(s)/Material(s) if found to be returned to the library immediately.
- If parents happen to find the lost book(s) they may give application to the Principal and get the refund of fine money. But it may be mentioned that the late fine for the said book has to be paid.
