What are the maximum class sizes?

We limit class sizes up to 25. Exceptions are only made in special circumstances, at the discretion of the Principal.

Is there a school bus?

Yes, we operate a supervised air conditioned school bus service that covers many routes and it is available for the students of class 1 and above. Our Administration Office will be pleased to provide details regarding this. This facility is available on a FirstComeFirstServed basis.

Are the students allowed to bring their own tiffin?

No. Our students eat their packed tiffin in their classrooms as provided by the school. The tiffin is complementary along with the school fees. We discourage any disparity among students. Hence, all students are provided with uniform tiffin.

Do you have extra-curricular activities?

Yes, a significant choice for all ages! We believe activities outside the classroom are as important as academic progress and are absolutely essential to personal and physical development. We offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities including sports, music, debate, drama, recitation, public speaking, environmental, and many more.

How and when do we pay the school fees?

Admission fees are to be paid at the start of the school year in July (Cambridge Curriculum) and January (National Curriculum) and tuition fees are at the start of every month. All kinds of fees are paid directly at the specified bank and the school does not carry any cash transaction regarding fees.

Parents with further questions should contact our front office.

Where do students go to university?

All students at CIDER go on to a university of their choice. As you would expect for an international school, a significant proportion of students choose to study elsewhere. Many students go on to top universities in Europe, North America, China, Japan, etc.

Our university placement cell helps students to choose a path that is right for them – enabling them to go on to study anywhere in the world.

What is the level of English required for a child to obtain a place in the school?

For small children between 3 to 5 years old, previous knowledge of English is not required. From Grade 1 /Class 1 onwards we may test the level of English to determine whether the child will be comfortable in class. Children learn languages very quickly. Joining at an early age is clearly an advantage. Secondary students need to have a proficient level of English to enter the school.
